Alice Sinclair
Deputy Director and Principal Speech and Language Therapist
Alice is a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, who graduated from City University, London, in 2005. Alice has experience working with young people, aged from 0-19, across a range of settings including pre-school settings, mainstream schools, specialist provisions, clinics and in clients’ homes.
Alice specialises in providing assessment and intervention for young people with complex communication needs. She is also qualified to manage dysphagia (swallowing impairment) and feeding difficulties.
Alice has undertaken extensive clinical training, including Makaton, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Intensive Interaction, ADOS-2, Talking Mats and Paediatric Dysphagia.
Alice has experience working collaboratively with other professionals within the multi-disciplinary team to best meet the needs of the young person and to support the development of good practice across the day.
Alice values working collaboratively with parents and other professionals, and believes that working together and learning from each other is the best way to meet the holistic needs of any young person with complex communication or feeding needs.
